3 Lobed Bud
Oiled Oak
More Details
My hands coax raw wood into sinuous, organic forms, inviting touch and exploration. Each sculpture whispers stories of growth, etched in its curves and grains. Smooth surfaces beg to be caressed, their coolness a counterpoint to the warmth of creation. Through this intimate dialogue, I breathe life into the inanimate, each piece a testament to the transformative power of human touch.
Misti was born in the UK in 1968, with a pencil in one hand and a Lego brick in the other. She grew up surrounded by artists and musicians and spent most of her childhood covered in glue and paint, which somewhat inevitably steered her towards following a creative muse.
Her career path led her to become a designer of bespoke interiors, furniture, gardens and architecture at the very highest level, specialising in the re-creation of period detailing and ornament. Misti has produced thousands of beautiful objects in her life, and her commissioned works can be seen in palaces, penthouses and private residences all over the world. In 2016, she taught herself to carve wood and stone, and has been working with her hands producing abstract sculptures ever since.
Misti is available for commissions of any scale, anywhere in the world. If you would like to discuss a commission with her please feel free to get in touch.
